The Power of Social: content marketing for B2B

Back in August last year, two great organizations, Content Marketing Institute and MarketingProfs, surveyed just over 1,000 marketers to get a sense of their B2B marketing strategies. Naturally, we took an interest in this – and here is our take on the report:

Usage and Effectiveness in content marketing is key. More and more people are devouring content. Articles, social media, blogs, enewsletters, and case studies are resulting in higher website traffic, which is driving sales. The smarter the content, the more widely spread, the more visitors. Easy math, we know this isn’t groundbreaking, but it’s reassuring to know that all of the work we as marketers do is paying off.

Most interesting to us, given we believe in the Power of Social, was the growth over the previous year for social media channels. Specifically, Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook, and YouTube. (Go social, really!)
